The images in this calendar were taken by photographer Craig Smith and are of objects from the Heard Museum's world famous collection of Native cultural and fine art. The Heard Museum's collections include approximately 39,000 works of art and ethnographic objects as well as library and archival resources. The Heard Museum's collection of fine art includes more than 3,600 pieces ranging from easel art and prints to sculpture. The collection documents the 20th-century development of the American Indian Fine Art Movement and includes work by some of the finest historic and contemporary American Indian artists.
